Thank you Ivan. Yes you answered quite fittingly. I am by no means an elite athlete. I basically hike and mountain bike between 20 60 miles a week carrying from a 40 to 80 lb kettle bell or sandbag depending on how I feel.
In two weeks, I lost 8 pounds. I even had a few really hard days and didn’t eat as well as I could have. I think I would have lost closer to 10 pounds if I would have done as well the second week as I did the first. I know that some of that weight is water weight (when I don’t eat grains, I’m much less bloated, so some of it is water weight for sure), so if I were to eat whatever I wanted now that it’s over, I would gain back at least half that weight in just a few days. That being said, this was a great jumpstart to losing my baby weight. It was the springboard that I needed to continue to diet to lose more weight.
The day before the big day, start off with the low carb template, but in the evening switch the last three meals to the meals from the carb load day. This will help start to fill you out for the next day. On game day, use the carb load day menu again to keep filling out the muscles so they'll be full and tight.
The short answer to this question is that it depends. There are a lot of factors that influence weight loss such as how overweight you are, your current diet, changes you make to lose weight, exercise and more. Mainly, I feel kind of hungry most of the time, even when eating only superb organic vegetables, grass-fed meats, eggs and olive, coconut oils in generous amounts. Hi Cathy As funny as it sounds, sleep deprivation may make you fat — and not just because you're susceptible to cases of the late-night munchies (although there's that too). There's tons of research that demonstrates getting less than the desired amount — about 7 hours — of sleep per night can slow down your metabolism. Plus, when you're awake for longer, you're naturally more likely to nosh. So don't skimp on your ZZZs, and you'll be rewarded with an extra edge when it comes to shedding pounds quickly.

As part of this “reset,” your body becomes hypersensitive to foods that it doesn’t feel are good for you. So, something that you’ve added after the TWT has created this constipation. I’d say go back to the TWT (or something similar) for a few days and try adding different foods in isolation. That might clue you into what is happening.
