Im am wanting to try the two week test and then start using the heart rate monitor while running. I’m about to start train for my first marathon, I have completed three halfs. I’ve just finished Natral Born Heros and interested in trying out the MAF method. My question is have you every had someone do this test while breastfeeding? I’m currently nursing and do not want to loose my milk supply. Thanks!

I’ve been thinking about going back to this kind of long term and I think it is a lot like the Mediterranean diet which does include more fruit and things. Counting macros hasn’t been working very well for me, so I think I might try this other route. This diet with a little fruit and some eggs would be perfect for me! I can’t wait to hear how it goes! I’ve backed off on my anaerobic work (pushups / dips / chin-ups), and have extended my HR paced runs. I find that my legs are heavy feeling and my energy is waning in the afternoon. While my food intake is up, I feel hungry sometimes (and have lost some weight on my already thin frame).
