I know it’s old news to you. 🙂 You’ve got it, basically. There’s just one thing: if you’re doing an anaerobic training session and you’re out of sugar, your anaerobic energy system is already pretty tired. While refueling is going to keep you going for a little bit longer, you aren’t going to be getting as much training of as high a quality as before. For that reason, I usually call it a day when I get tired doing intervals.
