If the MAF HR (as per the 180-formula) corresponds to the point of burning 50% fats and 50% carbs, could a very high carb, low fat diet cause the "true MAF HR" to be even lower? Perhaps in this case, the person would be burning 55% carbs and 45% fats at the 180-formula HR? Likewise, maybe the opposite way around for someone with very low carbs, in a ketogenic state?
