I don’t drink caffeine for health and religious reasons, and I wasn’t going to start just for this. I’ve heard that green tea can boost metabolism as well as curb hunger. I didn’t use it, so I’m not sure how it might or might not help. The average weight loss on the show was 9 pounds (and a few people lost up to 20!), and maybe the green tea helped with that.
