Arthritis Resource Finder I am on day 7 of the test. I have never gone so low in carbs even when I am trying to practice LCHF for two years. Still my weight has dropped only 1kg after a week. I used to blame bloating and flatulence on carbs but I still have bloating after eating only TWT diet. Does it mean I am carb tolerant? Or I am not following TWT properly? For Kids News & Opinion Meat substitutes are fine, as long as (1) they have no added sugar and (2) they are not starch based. Peanuts are not allowed because they are highly starchy and because they contain a lot of carbohydrates. (That is why peanuts, like other legumes such as beans and lentils, are disallowed during the TWT).

What the TWT does is to allow your body to “reset” its metabolism, so that you can start eating mostly or only foods that agree with you. As part of this “reset,” your body becomes hypersensitive to foods that it doesn’t feel are good for you. So, something that you’ve added after the TWT has created this constipation. I’d say go back to the TWT (or something similar) for a few days and try adding different foods in isolation. That might clue you into what is happening.
