I decided it wasn’t wise to skip dinner so just had a small meal – some steamed carrots with cinnamon, garlic and sea salt dipped in tahini, but felt really full. Reducing your calorie intake is hard. You are going to feel hungry, crave junk food, and have a strong desire to pig out at mealtime. You will want to give in. That’s okay. Everyone feels that way. I am pretty sure that my fatigue and cravings have improved, but I have loosely kept track of my weight and it seems to have definitely increased by about 3-7 pounds so far. It may be a lack of bowel movements, but I don’t think constipation could contribute to that much weight gain. I don’t have a way to measure body fat at the moment, but my whole body feels and looks slightly larger.
