Stress changes the body’s hormonal makeup in such a way that it stops burning fats, so it wants more sugar. But if the diet is relatively sugar-less, which means that there is relatively less stored sugar in the body, cravings can become unbearable. So I would look for some kind of significant stressor that entered the equation in day 10 or 11. The answer, of course, is to remove it and see if you can re-start the test.
