I run 6 days a week and do sit-ups before running (we’re now on day 4 of the test), and 3 days a week have an additional strength workout routine on the pull-up bar. It’s probably going to take you a little longer to become fat adapted than most people. If you are wanting to introduce natural sugars, and that alone is enough to increase your feeling of well-being and mental function, it is a sign that your fat-burning is very poor.
